StreamMo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use our Service at https://streammo.ca.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: name, email address, phone number
- Payment information: billing details processed by our secure payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Support communications: messages you send to [email protected] or over WhatsApp
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, subscription status
- Device information: device type, operating system, IBO Player version
- IP address: used for region detection, fraud prevention and service delivery
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies for service improvement (see section 6)
1.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government identification numbers, biometric data, or financial account details beyond what payment processing requires. The three fields requested on our order form — name, email and phone — are the complete set of personal data needed to deliver a subscription.
2. How we use your information
- Deliver the Service: activate and manage your subscription, authorise your device and stream content
- Process payments: complete transactions and send receipts
- Provide support: respond to enquiries, troubleshoot issues and resolve disputes
- Improve the Service: analyse usage patterns to enhance performance and content offerings
- Send service communications: account confirmations, expiry reminders and important updates. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
- Prevent fraud: detect and block unauthorised account sharing or misuse
- Comply with law: respond to lawful requests from Canadian authorities
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Legal basis for processing
Where required by law — including PIPEDA in Canada and equivalent frameworks elsewhere — our legal bases are:
- Contract performance: processing necessary to deliver your subscription
- Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, service security and analytics
- Legal obligation: compliance with applicable Canadian law
- Consent: where we explicitly ask for it, such as optional communications
4. Data sharing
- Payment processors: to complete transactions securely, under their own privacy policies
- Infrastructure providers: hosting and CDN providers processing data on our behalf under data processing agreements
- Legal authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of StreamMo and its users
All third-party processors are required to maintain appropriate security measures and are prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.

After the retention period, data is permanently deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies
- Essential cookies: required for sessions and service functionality. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: used to understand how visitors interact with https://streammo.ca — page views, navigation paths. You may opt out through your browser settings.
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
Depending on your province and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Restrict or object to certain processing activities
- Data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

8. Data security
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage for sensitive account information
- Access controls limiting who can view personal data
- Regular security reviews
No system is completely secure. In the event of a breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the relevant Canadian authorities as required by law.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
10. International transfers
Your data is processed and stored in secure data centres. Where data is transferred outside Canada, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version is posted at https://streammo.ca/privacy.html with an updated date. For material changes we notify you on WhatsApp or through a prominent notice on the site.
